Neurological

A neurological condition affects the brain, spine or nerves. Children and young people with a neurological condition may have additional needs related to their condition. Here at HSR Psychology, we can adapt assessments and interventions for individuals with a neurological condition to identify and address the needs of children and young people affected by their condition.

We can support needs related to the following neurological conditions:

Stroke

A stroke can have an impact on different areas of life including social communication, language and attention. We provide flexible support to address needs related to a stroke.

Traumatic brain injury

A traumatic brain injury can affect various aspects of a child or young person’s life including behaviour, memory and emotional management. We can assess and address needs related to individual’s with a traumatic brain injury.
